What you should know about roof insulation
Most top-floor problems in Riyadh start at the roof: leaks after the first rain, damp ceilings, or heat the AC cannot keep up with. The cause is rarely the absence of insulation, it is usually insulation applied without proper surface preparation, slopes, joints and drain detailing.
So we start with diagnosis, not material: roof type (concrete or metal), the condition of old layers, slopes and ponding, and the goal, stopping leaks, cutting heat, or both. Then we recommend one clear system and explain why.

Does roof insulation stop leaks permanently?
The right system on a properly prepared roof stops leaks for its full service life. Most failures come from ignoring slopes, joints and drains, which is why we treat them first.
Waterproofing or thermal insulation?
Waterproofing stops water; thermal insulation reduces heat transfer. In Riyadh we usually recommend both, spray foam delivers both in one layer.
How long does a villa roof take?
Typically one to three days depending on area, system and curing time.
