What you should know about thermal insulation
Thermal insulation is a high-resistance layer on the roof or walls that slows heat moving from outside to inside. In Riyadh, where temperatures exceed 45 °C for months, it is one of the fastest-payback investments in a building.
Each system has its place: spray foam for large and metal roofs because it also waterproofs; XPS boards as an economical option in inverted roofs under tiles; reflective coatings for small roofs or as a supplementary layer. We choose after inspecting the roof and understanding how the building is used.

Can an existing building be insulated?
Yes. Foam or reflective coatings are applied directly to the existing roof; boards require lifting the tiles.
When will I see savings?
From the first summer month after installation.
Is a reflective coating a substitute for foam?
Reflective coatings lower surface temperature but do not provide foam's thermal resistance, we recommend them for small roofs or as a supplement.
