What you should know about waterproofing
Waterproofing is a continuous layer that prevents water and moisture from penetrating concrete. The system depends on the location: an exposed roof needs UV resistance, a buried foundation needs resistance to soil pressure and groundwater, and a tank needs a potable-safe material.
The most common failure we see is a good material in the wrong place, or applied without treating cracks and corners. Substrate preparation is half the success of any waterproofing.
